SPINECOR® EXERCISE TRAINING

The SpineCor Exercise Method training program is divided into 3 modules:

   Module 0. On-line training.
Module 1. Paediatric SpineCor Exercise Method.
Module 2. Adult SpineCor Exercise Method.

MODULE 0  (On-line Training)

Phase 0 consists of 8 on-line presentations; 5 compulsory and 3 optional.

The compulsory presentations include:

    Basic Spinal Anatomy
    Scoliosis Overview
   Conservative Treatment of Idiopathic Scoliosis
Idiopathic Scoliosis - New Etiopathogenic Concept
Scoliosis Treatment with the Dynamic SpineCor Brace

The 3 optional presentations contain additional information about the SpineCor brace treatment and include:

    SpineCor System Treatment Results
    SpineCor System Case Studies
   SpineCor Standard Treatment Protocol

Each of the presentations has specific learning objectives. There are simple multiple choice questions at intervals throughout each training presentation that help to reinforce the key learning objectives. It is not possible to fail since the question can be answered numerous times until the correct answer is selected. It is necessary to complete each presentation, there is no pass or fail mark, however it is not possible to complete the module without answering all the questions correctly (even if this takes several attempts). The online system will give notification each time a presentation is satisfactorily completed.
It is necessary to complete at least all 5 compulsory presentations before registering for Module 1 training.

MODULE 1  (On-site Paediatric Exercise Training)

Module 1 consists of a combination of theory and practical sessions over a 2 days training program. The training is delivered to relatively small groups of delegates because of the high practical content.

The initial introduction to the training reviews some of the key learning objective taught on-line but also expands upon these and teaches etiopathogenic concepts, curve classification and SpineCor paediatric treatment principles.

The main emphasis of the training is in practical learning. Delegates will gain hands-on experience during the two days training program practicing scoliosis patient evaluation, scoliosis curve classification, Corrective Movements and curve specific exercises programs.

After completing the Paediatric SpineCor Exercise Method training program with a sufficient level of competence, delegates will be in the position to treat paediatric patients with this method. A certificate will be issued to such effect.

MODULE 2  (On-site Adult Exercise Training)
Those paediatric SpineCor exercise providers that have completed the Module 1 and want to be trained in the Adult SpineCor Exercise Method, may progress to Module 2.

Module 2 is a 1 day on-site group training course that covers the theory and the practical application of the Adult SpineCor Exercises Method.

The theory sessions will provide delegates with a good understanding of the adult scoliosis and how to manage its treatment effectively. The practical sessions will allow practicing the application of the SpineCor exercise programs for the different scoliosis and hyperkyphosis types.

Delegates that complete the Adult SpineCor Exercise Method training program, with a sufficient level of competence, will be in the position to treat adult patients with this method. A certificate will be issued to such effect.
